About us
Get to know the Vietnamese goulash!
The Vietnamese goulash itself, the eponymous essence, was born in the 2010s. The Beszálló on Madách tér was one of the extraordinary players of the invigorated gastronomy scene in Budapest: no one forgets who visited the pioneering food bar at least once. We had to wait a few years for Krisztián Huszár, now the head chef of VietnámigulyásHK, to recreate the wonderful soup in demo mode for the first time. In the beginning, Budagyöngye was the headquarters, then came Szirom on Margit körút, then in the summer of 2020 the most pleasant section of Frankel Leó utca and VietnámigulyásHK.
We have a modest number of tables, but we are not solid in anything else. Japan, Vietnam, and Thailand inspire the kitchen just like a traditional domestic favorite made from impeccable ingredients. Our fusion is not only to be found in the mutual dependence of the flavors of the nations, but rather to imagine an overall gastronomic magic. Where goulash hugs pho or spring rolls, first-class Szatmári plum jam is wrapped in a robe. There are those who think it's an act of civil liberties, but for us it's more like a natural creation. It's sure to be like no other.
